About Us

Our History

Belvoir Community Association (BCA) was founded in the 1960s by the early residents and tenants of the Belvoir Estate to campaign for better local amenities, estate maintenance, and social outlets for the growing number of young families.

In May 1973, the Association was formally constituted and a management committee was established. Since then, BCA has played an important role in supporting and representing the local community voices.

Over the years, many dedicated volunteers and community leaders have contributed to the success and longevity of the Association. Their commitment, leadership, and service helped shape BCA into the organisation it is today.

Fundraising

Fundraising plays a vital role in supporting the work we do across Belvoir. Through sponsored walks, community collections, event stalls, raffles, and local fundraising campaigns, we raise the funds needed to deliver projects, run activities, and support residents throughout the year. Every contribution, whether large or small, helps us keep our events free or low-cost, provide resources for local families, and continue improving the community spaces and services we all rely on.
